With Bentley's 100th anniversary coming up next year and the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition Mulsanne. It pays tribute to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley and even includes a portion of one of his vehicles.
The special model, which can be ordered on a regular or long-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed, was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The influence of this car can be observed in the cabin. For instance the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet houses a display with a piece of the 8 Litre crankshaft displaying inside.
Other highlights include a chrome-colored application running across the back of the car with an air vent with a photoetched B shape which incorporates W.O. 's signature front grille, a front grille that is modeled following the 1930s-inspired Onyx color of the limited edition, and an optional chrome application that wraps around the lower spoilers, left and right. The front grille also features a unique design, with a chrome-colored mesh replacing the body-colored mesh of Mulsanne. It also features the Flying B Logo.
A key box engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and has a black flock lining, while individual key pouches are also available to complement or contrast the key box. The commemorative set also includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and flying paperweight along with a printed brochure featuring images that have never before been seen of the original 1930s 8 Litre.

The knurling made of metal to metal on the key fob resembles the textures you'll find in the interior, like the controls for temperature of the seat and the shift knob. "We wanted the knurling to be as elegant and consistent as possible," says Van Braekel. It was important to keep the dimensions and shape of the fob uniform.
Bentley Mulliner customers are able to choose any color from the Bentley portfolio, as well as any combination of hides or veneers, and bespoke embroidery. Nearly 400,000 stitches provide Bentley's signature diamond-in-diamond quilting across its entire cabin, and immersive mood lighting can be adjusted to suit a range of different moods.
Outside illuminated treadplates and brushed silver clocks are available as standard, while new 22in wheels come with self-levelling Bentley logos. The Bentley Wing Key Pouches
Bentley's "Speed" series is enjoyable and takes the Continental GT's already extravagant luxury and kicks it up to eleven.
